Perception is a very powerful concept. Everyone perceives information on a daily basis but how they perceive that information is what's interesting and what is the basis for this post. Everyday we are bombarded with information. That information leads to choices. Choices are made based on the perception of information received. See my point. An endless cycle of daily mind somersaults. But here's where it gets interesting. Not everyone perceives information the same way. Therefore, each persons choices made off of how they perceive said information is different. And it's this difference in views that creates a communication breakdown/barrier among individuals. OR...it can stimulate active change. I believe as long as people communicate clearly their intentions and goals then everyone's perception is tied to nearly the same outcome. Without this clarification, there can be no constructive resolution. So the next time you find yourself faced with an seemingly unequal perception of information...stop, ask questions, make sure everyone is on the same page, and then react.
